In the end, it was a pretty normal day. There wasn’t really anything we wanted to do. It was like a moratorium on life, as time flowed by. A life we took for granted, an ordinary life.
And despite feeling dissatisfied about the overwhelming lack of things to do, you keep thinking about the next day. You keep telling yourself you’ve still got lots of time.
The truth is, I wish that days like this would last forever.

Gay Movie Needs Your Help To Improve Honest LGBT Representation In Sci-Fi

A team of British filmmakers are aiming to produce a groundbreaking new science-fiction movie that not only stars two gay men in the lead roles, but hopes to pave the way for improved representation of LGBT characters in the film industry.

Credence follows a gay male couple preparing to sell their worldly possessions to fund their young daughter’s evacuation from Earth in the wake of violent storms predicted to decimate the planet. While they will likely save her life for the right price, they may need to sacrifice their own lives in the process… Read more and watch the trailer and a behind-the-scenes video.

I’ve received a lot of letters from artists asking to check out their artwork and their blog, and I’ve noticed that a lot of them openly write unhealthy amounts of negative comments about their artwork, it was super depressing, honestly.  :(
Confidence plays a very very important role as an artist, it’s what helps us learn and grow without the constant feeling of doubt and jealousy!  You are a unique individual who must go down your own unique path, and as scary as it sounds, you can’t rely on others to hold your hand all the way through.  You are the only one who can get yourself to where you need to go, and beating up your artwork is not the way!  Trust yourself and your abilities to make a change, and you can do anything!!

Love your art, love yourself!

HEY WRITER FRIENDS
there’s this amazing site called realtimeboardwhich is like a whiteboard where you can plan and draw webs and family trees and timelines and all that sort of stuff. you can also insert videos, documents, photos, and lots of other things. you can put notes and post-its and, best of all, you can invite other people to be on the board with you and edit together!!
this is really really awesome and a great tool for novel planning, so if you’re doing nanowrimo…. this could be good for you!!
